Our strict no dickheads policy

by

From the very beginning, we have had one very strict policy in our business.

No dickheads.

Business should not be a place where dickheads are tolerated. But sadly, in a lot of businesses, it’s still pretty common to encounter dickheads. And they are usually in very senior positions.

We know that not everyone can choose to fire their dickhead clients, co-workers… or even their dickhead boss. But we can, so we do!

Everything in business should be an equal value exchange. Well, that’s how we see it anyway. How does this play out in our business…

Clients

We see our agency clients as partners. We work together to create amazing results. There is an equal value exchange. They pay us and we help them achieve their business goals. No room for dickheads here.

Students

We see our academy students as partners. We work together to create amazing results. There is an equal value exchange. They pay us and we help them achieve their business goals. No room for dickheads here.

Team

We see our team members as partners. We work together to create amazing results. There is an equal value exchange. We pay them and they help us achieve our business goals. No room for dickheads here.

Contractors and suppliers

We see our contractors and suppliers as partners. We work together to create amazing results. There is an equal value exchange. We pay them and they help us achieve our business goals. No room for dickheads here.

This goes for everyone who comes in contact with our business. And we enforce it fiercely. We have fired clients, changed contractors and refunded students who didn’t fit.

We are super privileged to be able to be able to choose who we work with, at all levels.

I could tell you some shocking (SHOCKING!) stories from my corporate days. And maybe one day I will but for now I will say that this is one of the reasons why we are so passionate about helping eCommerce entrepreneurs create wildly successful online stores.

Our “why” is to help eCommerce entrepreneurs have wildly successful online stores… so they can make their own choices, be financially independent and don’t have to tolerate dickheads.

Maybe not very politically correct. But hey, I’m ok with that.

I totally agree with this sentiment, I too have a no dickheads policy, but didn’t have it in writing just in my head!! Great little article.
