“Australian Made” was the first thing I saw and the imagery really didn’t give it away” It took more than 3 seconds to realise you were selling sauces and jams. I’d change up your hero image to include your products so it’s obvious straight away and change the headings around so that Austalian Made is in the small print 🙂

Thank you so much for your excellent feedback. Unless I ask someone to look from the outside of the glass instead of me looking from the inside of the glass, I never know how others see things! I have adjusted things a little, but I am still unsure what they look like from a customers point of view!

Australian made paintings going by the first image you have up. I agree with Karyn, Change up your hero image to clearly show what it is that you sell – make your products the hero. Remember as humans we are visual creatures.

Thank you so much for your time to take a look Sarah! It is so very appreciated. I have edited things a little…I’m not sure if I am making things better or worse! LOL!

If you have already tweaked the main pic then it worked. Jams, relishes and sauces is what I see! Yum!

You are selling jams, chutneys and relishes. I’m not sure, but when the banner loads on my end your logo appears on the same lines and Australia Made. you might need to realign the text so Australian Made is more visible too 🙂

      Hi Kahlia,
I first thought jams, because your first image grabbed my attention before the words did. I am wondering if the main headline should be something more punchy, instead of just a list of all the things you make? I would make the headline that is in smaller font the larger font instead “Australian made gourmet preserves” – it still says what you make without having to spell out each product category in your hero image. Just an idea. I’m not an expert. Goodluck! 🙂

      What I think you sell:
Gourmet preserves made in Australia – large selection of categories and images clearly show your products

      Who I think it’s for:
There is a pic of Uluru so has me think it’s made in NT particularly because of your business name – made remotely in the outback

The header is very tall and I can’t see any hook above the fold that has me want to scroll down (although I did scroll down)

Ethical clothing for women. I saw after the 3 second test that you offer men’s clothing too. I’d recommend making your hero image one that includes a man and a woman so that is clear straight away 🙂

Ethical clothing for women going by your hero image Mel.

Would be awesome if your hero image included a selection of your product range – men’s clothing too 🙂

Gifts for newborns and toddlers, nice a clear. I’d recommend using some of your key categories as menu items and perhaps making your here image full width 🙂

      Hi Korinne,
I wasn’t sure at all. The page took longer than normal to load. I’m a bit confused though, is this more a service based website, not product based? Goodluck with it. 🙂

The first impression I get is you sell energy / electricity only by the logo wording. The header images are very tall and there is no other information that indicates what you sell other than the statement ‘make the switch’. I haven’t yet scrolled down so I can only go by my assumption in 3 seconds. Now scrolling down, perhaps swapping ‘make the switch ‘ with ‘Powering our communities with clean energy.’ will help the user immediately understand your product and service.

I’m not sure sorry. I can see a happy couple and become a shareholder but within 3 seconds I have no idea what I’m becoming a shareholder for.

The word design caught my eye, as it stood out over the print in background, and then the hanging chair, which I first thought was some sort of sculpture. It’s a lovely image, but not sure if the chair draws attention away from the print? Your work is so colourful and beautiful! All the best. 🙂

Sterling Silver Earrings to suit women with different styles. The only thing I would add is the logo is so big that it is pushing the main image down on the screen. Try to reduce the logo size a bit.

Leak proof undies for women and babies – at first I wasn’t sure what leak proof meant, if it was for women or toddlers? It might make more sense if you separated the message? One for woman and period undies and one for toddlers and potty training?
